The Official Announcement of the Upcoming English Proficiency Exams

Greetings to all students and exam candidates!

We are thrilled to inform you that the next round of English proficiency examinations, including the College English Test (CET) 4 and 6, is right around the corner. The exams will be held on December 2nd, 2023. In order to ensure a smooth and fair examination process, we have implemented several important changes and improvements to the testing procedures.

First and foremost, there will be two separate sessions for the CET-4 and CET-6 exams. The CET-4 exam will take place from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM, while the CET-6 exam will be held in the afternoon from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. This adjustment aims to provide candidates with a better testing experience and minimize any potential issues related to time management.

Additionally, the examination format will remain the same as previous years. The CET-4 exam will include listening, reading, and writing sections, while the CET-6 exam will consist of listening, reading, writing, and translating sections. These sections are designed to comprehensively evaluate your English language skills and proficiency.

To further enhance fairness and security, we will strictly enforce the examination rules. It is essential that all candidates arrive at the designated examination center at least 30 minutes before the start of the exam. Late arrivals will not be permitted to enter the examination room. Moreover, electronic devices, including mobile phones, smartwatches, and electronic dictionaries, are strictly prohibited during the examination. Candidates found violating this rule will face severe consequences, including disqualification from the exam.

In preparation for the upcoming exams, we strongly advise all candidates to make full use of the available resources. Previous examination papers, mock tests, and sample questions can be accessed on our official website. Additionally, it is highly recommended that candidates engage in regular practice and review sessions to strengthen their language skills and improve their chances of success.

Lastly, please be aware that the registration period for the CET-4 and CET-6 exams will commence on September 1st, 2023, and close on October 15th, 2023. Please ensure that you complete the registration process within this timeframe to secure your spot in the examination.
